Join us for free family outdoor nature activities at Allotment Soup Isle of Walney Community Growing Space this summer

We’re delighted to be promoting Barrow Borough’s natural assets through family nature activities this summer!  Join Eve (Art Gene’s Landscape Working Party) at Allotment Soup, the Isle of Walney Community Growing Space for a series exploring our local wildlife this summer.

Happening every Wednesday morning throughout school summer holidays, the activities are aimed to introducing families to our Re-wilding Barrow project at the Isle of Walney Community Growing Space and will focus on about the value of our local biodiversity and our coastal wildflower species, through a range of hands-on fun, family activities.

The series of events will gather together community ideas, art and poetry to produce an online booklet to educate our Borough about some of our key natural assets.
