Tracey Eastham – Memories of Places Never Visited
“I believe we interact with the landscape and nature through reproduced imagery of it. I question this interaction as shallow and fake, yet I also celebrate it as a refuge of escape, mystery and idealisation”.
Tracey Eastham graduated from Wimbledon Collage of Art in 2006 with a Masters Distinction degree and an Axis MAstar award. She was selected for the Arts and Business ‘Vision’ for the North West, created ‘The Liverpool Art Journal’, recently completed a large scale paper-cut for The Co-operative Group in Manchester, and has exhibited throughout the country and in Europe. She is based at Rogue Artists Studios in Manchester and is a part-time lecturer in Critical Studies at Blackpool and the Fylde College.
