If These Walls Could Talk Exhibition

Join us for the opening of our indoor exhibition ‘If These Walls Could Talk…’ on Thursday 23rd May, from 6.30-9.00pm.

This exhibition marks the culmination of two mini heritage projects supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Westmorland and Furness Council. It is a celebration of the Walney Shelter and also presents a collection of memories linked to Barrow’s Old Technical College, now the Nan Tait Centre.

The show will bring together a variety of artefacts, recorded memories, drawing and photography gathered from local residents, archivists and historians.

Refreshments and nibbles will be provided. Please RSVP via our Eventbrite page or call 01229 825085 to confirm your place.

The exhibition will run from Tuesday 28th May to Tuesday 11th June, 2024, 11am-4pm (excluding Sunday) at the Art Gene Mezzanine Gallery located within the The Nan Tait Centre, Abbey Road, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria LA14 5TY.
