Heritage Lottery puts Fort Walney in top 10

This summer, Heritage Lottery Fund published a list of the top 10 National Lottery Days Out to Enjoy in Cumbria, which included Art Gene’s Fort Walney, Uncovered.

“Experience the haunting beauty of the site of Fort Walney, Walney Island, where landscape and legacies of the two World Wars meet through art”.

“Whether it’s the stunning architecture of its cathedrals, stories of its literary giants, beautiful rolling landscapes or steam trains roaring through the countryside, Cumbria has it all…”

Heritage Lottery Fund, 17/08/2017
