‘Follow The Money’: A true life musical show – Re;discover Barrow
‘Follow the Money’ is a show based on the memories of women who were the frontline workforce of Barrow’s banks… the ladies who stamped the cheques, counted the cash and kept the wheels of industry turning from the 1960’s to the 1990’s. The show, produced by Theatre Factory, features Barrow’s Rock and Pop choir, a live band and a wonderful community cast which includes actors who have appeared in Coronation Street and The Bay.
Come along down to ‘The Kill One’ on Duke Street for a sing-song, a laugh, some memories shared and of course, pie and peas!
The event forms part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone cultural programme, developed with Barrow’s creative arts companies Art Gene, FON, Theatre Factory, Signal Film and Media and Barrowful as well as Barrow Archives, in partnership with Barrow Borough Council. It is funded by Historic England with support from the Arts Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
