Barra Night this weekend

from 5pm Saturday 24th – 10am Sunday 25th August

The forecast is looking good for this coming weekend (woo hoo) and we’ve got big plans for The Isle of Walney Community Growing Space.

If you haven’t already booked, contact us events@art-gene.co.uk or call 01229 825085 to book, and let us know how many adults and children will be coming, and specify how many tents you will bring if camping. Some essential info below:

ESSENTIAL INFO

This event is weather dependent, and may be postponed at short notice
The site has uneven terrain and is only partly accessible by wheelchair or pushchairs
Family friendly event. You will be required to supervise your own children at all times
Basic toilet facilities are provided
Campers should checkin at 5pm to pitch their tent, non campers at 6pm
Sorry, no dogs

PLEASE BRING

Bring your own meat for BBQ choices (bread rolls, sauces, vegetarian food and drinks provided) Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements
A tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, change of clothes (if camping)
A torch
Weather appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear, waterproofs and warm clothing for the evening
Water to drink
Spare clothes and a towel
A sense of adventure
